Do you get up each morning excited and ready to go to work to fulfill your purpose? Do you live your dreams to the fullest most days of the week? The truth is, most of us don’t, especially women. Most of us do what’s necessary to provide financial support for ourselves and family. Some of us are living the life our parents or someone else dreamed for us, but not the life we dreamed for ourselves.

Most people go through life existing instead of living a life of intention, significance, and joy. Why live this way? We only have one life to live! This isn’t a dress rehearsal. I want you to say yes to your best self, and I want to help you reengage in your life to help you live your best you!

I know what it’s like to get up each morning going through the motions knowing there is more to life, but not knowing how to get there. I had to make a decision to do something different in order for me to have something different. As soon as I knew the starting point of my purpose was to become a relationship coach, I immediately began researching life coach certification programs, and I became a Certified Personal and Executive Coach through author, speaker and coach Valorie Burton’s CaPP Institute in June 2014. August 2015, I received my coaching, training and speaking certification through the John Maxwell team.

I didn’t waste any time pursuing my purpose, and I want to help you pursue yours through coaching and accountability. You will self-discover many things about yourself, and you’ll realize you actually have most of the answers within you to live your dreams.

For the past 29 years, all of my work experience has been in some form of customer service, and most of those years have been in a leadership position. Working in Corporate America has its rewards and challenges, and I was afforded one of those rewards by serving as a Leadership Development Program coach for leaders and entry level employees. Being in leadership and a mentor gives me the opportunity to coach individuals to achieve their goals, and I want to help you achieve yours. No dream is too small to pursue, and it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Don’t allow your age, past, finances, or negative self-talk stop you from living your life of greatness.

The Power of One Life Coach is simply what it states. The power one person has to make a difference in their life and others. You have the power to create and have a better relationship with yourself, your finances, and spirit. Being, doing and living the life you were intended to live is as simple as making the decision to do something different and having an accountability partner to help you define your path.

Don’t allow your age, finances, your past or negative self-talk stop you from living your life of greatness.  I know you may think it’s hard to move forward, but you can!  I’ve done it, and I still experience challenges sometimes. I’ve lived through self-disappointments, financial challenges, divorce, self-judgment and dishonoring my truth for someone else.  I can tell you it gets better, but you have to show up and do the work.  You’re so worth it!

I had to determine to show up and do the work in my own life.  That’s why I can say you can move forward.  One of the areas I had to do the most work was being true to myself and honoring my truth. I involved myself in relationships that didn’t value my worth because I didn’t demonstrate it or command it.  I found that most of my relationships didn’t go much beyond three years.

After I divorced, I took a year to spend time with me to determine my MUST HAVE list and MUST NOT HAVE list with a mate.  In order to do that, I had to know who I was and what I wanted, and I had to ask myself three questions.

  1. What are my true values, and what do I need to change about me to be a better me?
  2. Why was I ok with relationships having an expiration date?
  3. Am I willing to stay true to who I am and what I want even when I meet someone whom I really like?

Once I answered those questions, I began to see changes in how I moved through my space and how I managed relationships.  As much as I thought I wouldn’t sacrifice my truth again after working on me, it happened again!  I felt inauthentic and frustrated because I sacrificed one of the things I have on my “must not have”list.  Once I ended the relationship, I decided I would honor my truth by being in relationships that allowed me to be who I am, and I only allow people in my space who do the same.

I continue to develop myself through workshops, seminars, webinars, and other courses.  Why do I do it?  I want to be the best coach I can be to you.  I want to be a continuous learner of life and I want to influence others to live their best life by being an example.  Based on my life, leadership experiences, and coaching experiences, I know I can help you create your best life!

I believe every person should own his or her own power and challenge themselves to a live a bigger and better life! Why play it small? Be the star in your life!
