To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.

William Shakespeare

Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.

Mary Kay Ash

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

William Arthur

Ready for massive change?

To make your life better, you have to want a better life.  You have to show up, be fully present and commit to the goal.  Let me help you get started.

Coaching vs. Counseling

It is important that you have clarity about the difference between coaching and other types of professional services such as therapy or counseling and mentoring.  Coaching focuses on where you are presently and where you are headed with a goal of helping you gain clarity about your vision, eliminate obstacles to your success, accelerate the pace of personal growth and achieve results that empower you to live a fulfilling life personally and professionally.  We can focus on the relationship you have with yourself, your finances, spirit, and any other areas which you may want coaching.   Coaching focuses on moving you forward in attaining your personal and professional goals through self-discovery, consistency and commitment. Quite often counseling assists clients with past issues which may have them unable to move forward successfully.  We may occasionally discuss something which has occurred in the past for the purpose of clarifying the present, but your coaching will not focus on resolving the past.  If it appears that there is an issue for which you may need counseling rather than coaching or counseling in addition to coaching, I will suggest it.

Coaching vs. Mentoring

As a coach, I focus on the development of you and your unique path in particular.  A mentor guides you towards a specific path of development.  I’m more interested in helping you define or discover your divinely ordained path that’s meant for you.  My job as your coach is not to tell you what to do, but rather to help you uncover the answers that exist within you.  Consider me a catalyst for your success.

Individual coaching sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, and I recommend a minimum of three months of coaching to establish longer-term support as you make major transitions and changes in your personal and professional life.  You may continue your sessions beyond the three months for as long as you’d like, and you may stop your sessions at any point as well.   Your coaching session is an appointment on my calendar, and it’s a committed time period I dedicate to you and your goals.
